As far as i can tell they have never actually said their reasons to have the game DRM free. There are thousands of articles showing why DRM is a bad idea, most of them don't work properly and tend to lock out legitimate buyers. The new settlers game comes to mind, an entire country is having problem...

Yes, you only get access to all three versions when you purchase directly from hemisphere mate.

Honestly if it was available for Xbox i think it would gain Hemisphere a big boost in sales and exposure, I'm sure they already know that though.

Might i also suggest that you make a post on hemispheres homepage about this, that would gain it a lot of traction, can you also keep us updated regularly if you find someone or not? I really would like this on Linux.
