Hi danw13335 -- our beta testers also found that Osmos runs on Macs under VMware Fusion or Parallels; perhaps you can try one of these?

Re: is this comming to (handheld)consoles anytime in the future?
Great list jojo, and thanks for your support! Yeah, we've definitely thought about the best places to see Osmos, and now that Osmos has released and is breaking out into the world, we're definitely looking forward to see what the future of Osmos will look like for other platforms. Stay tuned... ;) H...

Re: Multiplayer!
lol @ tiger shark foetuses :D But seriously: multiplayer (MP) -- yes, we've thought alot about it. Step #1 for us was getting the game out there, and we were a bit concerned that MP might break into the ambient atmosphere of the game too much for initial release. Believe me though -- it's on our 'sw...

Re: Soundtrack Album
Thanks for your comments jojo. Doing a proper CD release of the music in Osmos would be absolutely fabulous! We'd all really love that, no doubt! Sadly though, I highly doubt we're going to have the manpower available to tackle the legal and production side of a project like this any time soon (nail...

Re: Physics suggestion
Yeah, Catinthewall is right: if the player was able to impart momentum to the level boundaries, they'd move and gradually collect and sweep the level's motes against the far wall. These motes would tend to encounter one another and absorb each other, resulting in a small number of larger motes that ...

Re: First impressions
hahaha, I know the feeling Fred But do try to relax, take it slow, soak up the atmosphere... also, don't forget about time-slowdown. It's Osmos' main difficulty know, where you can slow down time during the dicey challenge bits.

Re: Love the game, one suggestion
Hey gang, For a game like Osmos you've really only got two options when it comes to level boundaries: either you have 'em, or you wrap around (infinitely large levels can't fly). Thing is, having walls adds interesting gameplay to the game; for example, chasing AI opponents is more fun when you can ...

Re: Awesome game!
Thanks for the glowing feedback Renboy -- really glad to hear you've been enjoying the game :D A level editor, Importing levels, and scoring/stats/leaderboards... we've thought about 'em all in great length, but given coding manpower available (ie two dudes), we just didn't have the time to get ever...
