Thanks stuartgc, let me know how it goes. Any chance you'd be able to capture a screenshot or vid/fraps of what you're seeing?

Re: Osmos Support
Bummer pravo. Just to be clear: the game is crashing at startup, right? Are you able to play the game at all? If you launch the game without sound as per the instructions in the FAQ, can you actually play the game? If so, then we know the trouble is with OpenAL.
Thanks,
Dave

Re: Osmos Demo Support
@ TheBladeRonen: if you launch the game with the nosound option (as per the Osmos FAQ), do you have any luck? @ almo: Can you please describe in greater detail what you're seeing? Does the game crash unless you run with no sound? Or is the game starting up fine but you just don't have any sound? Can...

Re: Osmos Support
Is everybody who is having trouble with the sound running Windows 7 and 64 bit? I'm also curious about the OpenAL version you're running -- maybe the latest OpenAL is buggy in Windows 7. Creative Labs has a program called ALCapsViewer (available here ) -- what version is it reporting for you guys? F...

Re: Update issues?
Hi stuartgc, thedox, Thanks for your messages. There should never be a 'check for new updates' screen appearing in the Steam version of Osmos, so I'm puzzled as to how this is happening. Does this screen flash up every time you run the game? How early in an Osmos play-session does the screen appear ...

Re: direct purchase vanished?
Sorry Catinthewall, not sure what to suggest for the D2D issue other than to go through their sales support to work out the kinks... Hope it can be sorted out!

Re: This game is "awesometastic"
Glad to hear you're digging the game Nacery! Yeah, the FortuneCity font should already contain the characters we need to localise the game to most Western languages. One special tip for you about the 'j' character: the kerning for that character is a bit broken in the font, so if you're playing with...

Re: Osmos Support
Looks like y'all are having trouble with OpenAL. Try downloading the latest OpenAL installer from CreativeLabs here (the file is called oalinst.zip).

Re: Osmos Demo Support
Thanks for your post Klaste. So when you run in windowed mode, you can't see anything at all, only a grey screen? When Osmos is running in fullscreen, it should use whatever refresh rate you've set in your display settings. Can you try playing with your display settings (refresh rate, etc), then res...
